The Florida Association of Computer Crime Investigators (FACCI) is a not-for-profit association which was formed for the purpose of providing training, resource sharing, legal updates, and networking opportunities to aid Florida law enforcement agencies and corporations in conducting computer crime investigations. Membership in FACCI is open to all federal, state, and local law enforcement officers, criminal analysts and prosecutors, as well as corporate security professionals with a primary responsibility of computer security. An annual training conferences is held in the Summer of each year and consist of three days of training on current issues relating to computer crime, technology and legal updates, vendor updates, resource sharing, intelligence exchange, and a FACCI business meeting. Every effort is made to provide the most up-to-date training with the most qualified subject matter experts available.If you are located outside of Florida, you might want to consider membership in the High Tech Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA). ***NEXT TRAINING***The next conference will be: July 27-30, 2008. The training will begin on Sunday afternoon at the Helmsley Sandcastle Hotel in Sarasota.
